Boston based artist Johan, originally named Stephen Feigenbaum, is a composer, songwriter, and singer who dabbles in a variety of genres including pop, classical, and musical theatre. An East Coast native, he was born in Massachusetts and earned his degree from Yale in music composition. His classical music has been recorded by a variety of notable ensembles including the Cincinnati Pops, Boston Children’s Choir, and the Albany Symphony Orchestra. He has also worked as a pop music producer with artists such as Vic Mesa, Rufus Wainwright, Trinidad James, and Mr. Hudson. In his personal pop project, Johan, he explores the world of indie pop with a splash of R&B and hip hop. His recently released EP, Wild, contains hip hop infused collaboration with Vic Mensa “High in the Woods” and pop bangers such as “Sober”, among many other gems that are sure to become your new earworms. Johan was also the primary arranger for his 2016 “Yeethoven” project, a sold out concert in Los Angeles, which fused the music of Beethoven and Kanye West, earning him much notoriety and acclaim.
