A Recap of TONIGHT ONLY

On December 5th, 2022, VOVE left a massive imprint on a packed house at Cypress Recital Hall. This event, known as “Tonight Only,” featured four artists being featured on the upcoming collaborative album produced by the VOVE label. These performers included Andre James, Zack Leon, Max Gardener, and Claire de Lune. 

Opening up the show was Zack, who performed his first song “Do It Again'' with the VOVE house band. After playing a beautiful song featuring himself and the piano, he was joined by Claire De Lune, who he accompanied on piano. Claire followed Zack with an ethereal piano ballad, then brought out her guitar for a final song. 

The next performer was Max, whose band was rounded out with VOVE’s very own Jason on drums. Max tore the house down with a set of rock music, providing energetic stage presence and a tight band. Closing out the night was Andre James, who was backed by the VOVE house band. Andre brough energy to each and every one of his verses and shared his story of being an underdog.

After the show, all of the students treated themselves to free tacos, socialized, and enjoyed a pleasant meal. It was clear that the show was a success and that everyone enjoyed the evening of entertainment. All of the artists, members of the record label, and audience alike are looking forward to what is next for VOVE in 2023.
